| Flo Minton is a mixed media wood artist from The North End in Manchester, NH. She was juried into The League of NH Craftsmen and The New Hampshire Art Association in 2023. Her work celebrates the beauty of natural wood, giving new life to scraps she reclaims from the discard bins at local NH sawmills and pieces leftover from DIY projects. After the initial carving, the wood is inlaid with clay tiles then stained, charred or given a hand rubbed oil finish. With motifs ranging from retro mid-century modern, traditional African mud cloth and multicolor ombre and mosaics, Flo’s work was most recently featured at the Boca Raton Museum of Art Shoppe and Mosaic Art Collective in Manchester, NH. |
