Since 1982, I am fortunate to have learned from the some of the best in the craft of traditional rug hooking, though little has changed with the techniques and materials of 100 years ago, rug hooking has evolved to fit in to today’s lifestyle for the floor and walls. I love exploring the relationship of texture, light & color in the wool, using, silks, wool, exotic yarns, beads & semi-precious stones, are all elements that add another dimension to the visual interest in my original designs that help me create unique one of a kind pieces. I teach and exhibit at various workshops, museums, i.e. American Folk Art Museum, NYC, Sunapee Craftsmen’s Fair as well as venues in NH, the U.S. and Canada.
