Beautiful mug by Georgia Donnelly, featuring Vermont and New Hampshire with love between them. Georgia used a dark stoneware clay to make this mug, and glazed it in a luscious purple glaze to produce wonderful depth. Finished with a gold heart, it makes a wonderful functional tea or coffee mug, or a fantastic gift from New England. The rippling surfaces of Georgia’s functional pottery accentuate the way it is made on the wheel, highlighting the movement that the clay goes through to get to its finished shape, and making each piece interesting to the touch as well as to the eye. Every item is lovingly handcrafted in her home studio with the hope to bring you joy and inspiration.
