Delightful mug with a forest of trees hand carved on the surface by Wendy Jackson. Wendy uses a technique called sgraffito (in Italian,“to scratch”). This is a unique surface decorating technique done by applying colors to the leather hard pottery, and then scratching or carving off parts of the layers to create contrasting images, patterns, and textures, revealing the clay color underneath. Finished with a comfortable handle and food-safe teal glaze, this mug is sure to be a household favorite. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.
