Beautiful woodfired celadon bud vase by Walter Slowinski. Celadon is a traditional Japanese glaze with a soft satin finish that ranges in color from white to blue, green, or yellow. This particular celadon developed some beautiful crazing, enhancing its clean gentle nuance. Walter’s work is exclusively woodfired, a time consuming process, as the wood fueled kiln must be stoked continuously by hand, sometimes for days! Strong, durable, and well weighted to support long stems, this perfectly functional vase is wonderful for 1-5 stems of your favorite flowers.
