Iron Furnace Slag Bracelet

Handmade sterling silver bracelet with Iron Furnace Flag Stone (“NH turquoise”).

Lucy’s note: This is a piece of slag from the stone stack in Franconia. It is the lovely by-product of the iron industry that supported our region 200 years ago. The slag was poured into the river and was polished as it tumbled over time. There was a similar industry in this area (Gilmanton Iron Works) so slag can probably be found there too!”

Stone measures approximately 1/4 inches tall by 1/2 of an inch at widest. Bracelet length is adjustable.
