Joe Forrestall has been blowing glass since 2003. After graduating with a degree in graphic design, an impromptu lunch with his mother at Simon Pearce turned into a 9 month apprenticeship, followed by years of blowing soft glass and borosilicate glass in New Hampshire, Vermont, Colorado, and other places around the country. He is now based at his home studio in Alstead and is proud to create nature-themed glass sculptures with an emphasis on local fish. He is inspired by his experience as a fisherman, hunter, whitewater raft guide, conservationist, and board member with the Native Fish Coalition.
