Handblown-glass red-tailed hawk feather ornament by glassblower Jocelyn Brown. These vibrant ornaments were each sculpted individually with a technique called flameworking, in which the artist softens and melts glass rods and tubes with a torch to shape them. Made from borosilicate glass (Pyrex), they are not as fragile as you might think. Including tones of amber, orange, yellow, black and white, you can bring the colors of your favorite bird into your home year round with this beautiful feather in your window or on your tree.
