Ann, a graphic designer, and Martha, a former teacher of crafts, are life long friends. Inspired by their decades-long appreciation for fine decorative papers, and their fascination with the art of folded paper, they create distinctive three dimensional pieces that explore color, shape, pattern and form. Both NH natives, they have combined their talents to create unique handcrafted designs in their Amherst, NH studio.

Beautiful hand-crafted pleated paper ornament with a gold and blue patterned top, gold and white bottom, and white and green beads by Ann Desmarais and Martha Whitney.
