“Zen Coil” circle pendant by Allison Korn, made with pure fine silver (999).The raised areas are polished silver while the recessed areas have a dark patina that accentuates the texture and makes them come alive. Allison’s jewelry is made from a precious metal clay made of pure silver particles (all recycled) in an organic binder. (The company that recycles the silver gets their silver from old silverware, as well as old x-rays and photographic negatives!) Each piece is then fired to 1650F, burning off the organic binder and leaving a pure silver piece of jewelry behind. Allison’s artistic voice comes straight from her heart, with the loving intention of helping others on their own journeys. Hanging from a sterling silver chain, this circular necklace design invites opening and connection.
