These “Momentum” slender silver drop earrings by Allison Korn are made with pure fine silver (999) and hang from sterling silver ear wires. The raised areas are polished silver while the recessed areas have a dark patina that accentuates the texture and makes them come alive. Allison’s jewelry is made from a precious metal clay made of pure silver particles (all recycled) in an organic binder. (The company that recycles the silver gets their silver from old silverware, as well as old x-rays and photographic negatives!)Â Each piece is then fired to 1650F, burning off the organic binder and leaving a pure silver piece of jewelry behind. Allison’s artistic voice comes straight from her heart, with the loving intention of helping others on their own journeys. These dangle earrings create a lot of movement that catches the light, and encourage good energy, creating a tempo as they go through life each day.
