Inspired by cave paintings and Ice Age art found throughout Europe, Asia and North Africa from over 30,000 years ago, Luann Udell creates imagined artifacts from polymer clay. Each artifact is created one at a time with very thin layers of polymer clay to recreate the rich grain of old ivory, bone, or stone. The hoops of these earrings look like old ivory with delicate black markings. They dangle from elongated copper pieces and are accented with some tiny beads.
