Vibrant silk scarf by John Scott, created with the fascinating process of ice-dyeing. This is a technique in which ice cubes are placed on top of fabric that has been prepped with dye and soda ash. As the ice melts, the dye dissolves and migrates into the fabric, creating watercolor-like patterns, with whimsically distributed unpredictable designs. Each scarf is individually dyed to create an exceptional variety of depths and tones, sometimes changing from one end to the other. This unique, 100% silk scarf is colored with blue, green, and teal, transitioning to lavender, purple and magenta.
