Asked to describe what he hoped to convey through his work after thirty five years of application, John replied, “The inspiration to do something truly unique is not always right on tap; it may come a few times each year and while it's there I may get out one or two pieces that have originality and impact and that is of some importance to me. But what we are trying to do with most of our work, particularly or wholesale line is produce work of excellent design that is well made and fairly priced. The many years spent at this have enabled us to develop a loyal clientele and that has allowed us a peaceful and independent lifestyle for which we're very grateful.
