Visually, I like to see the metal in my work as the center piece using stones, beads, or enamel to accentuate the beauty of the metal. Forming, texturing, finishing; the endless possibilities excite me, and keep me experimenting with, and exploring this wonderful medium. I have meandered down a lengthy, winding path, dabbling in many different crafts all my life. I reach my final destination when introduced to the art of metalsmithing. This is where my mind and hands have found perfect harmony working together. I love beginning with a plain piece of metal and finishing with a lovely piece of wearable art.
