Jeff Grantham’s passion for woodturning began with the gift of a small benchtop lathe in 2015, when he immediately fell in love with the craft. Much of his skill has been self-taught, until recently when he has attended several workshops with renown woodturners to refine his craft. Enhancing the inherent beauty in wood through form, texture, contrast, and color, Jeff seeks to create pieces both functional and artistic. In sourcing much of his wood from locally harvested trees, the entire process from log to finished piece can take many months, but he finds immense gratification in taking raw materials and creating something beautiful and/or useful with it.
Natural edge cherry wood bowl; turned by Jeff Grantham; 7 1/4″ long, 6 3/8″ wide, 3 5/8″ tall.
