Gorgeous wood marquetry tea box with a tree and paua shell moon. Woods used include black cherry, black walnut, wenge, lacewood, lilac, zebra wood, and horse chestnut. Handles are made of horse chestnut from a tree planted by Gen. William Whipple (signer of the Declaration of Independence) in 1776 in Portsmouth, NH.
