My specialty is Intarsia, Art from Wood. I use thick hard and soft woods of many species to get the color and grain pattern that enhances my 3D art. I use no stains, just the clear finished color of the natural wood. I learned Intarsia from Judy Gale Roberts and attended her “Intarsia Experience” in June 2007. My Cape Neddick (“Nubble”) Lighthouse Intarsia won the ScrollSaw Magazine Editor’s Choice Award for the Best Intarsia, Best Project Design Contest 2009. My Glade Creek Grist Mill Intarsia won “Best in Wood” Award at the 2016 Sunapee Fair and my “3 Tugs” Intarsia won “The Innovation” Award at the 2019 Sunapee Fair.

Portland Head Light in natural, exotic woods. No stains used, just all natural wood finished in a UV-resistant finish to preserve the natural color of the wood.

Woods Used: Black Walnut, Aspen, Bloodwood, Blue Mahoe, Lacewood, Spalted Blue Pine, Red Gum, Black Limba, and Poplar.

Measures 18-1/2 inches wide by 14-1//2 inches tall by 1-1/4 inches deep.
