Carol found the League of NH Craftsmen in 1957 when in college as a craftsman's helper. She met Concord League shop manager, Bill Randall, later learning he was an uncle. Carol studied at the MA College of Art and the University of Geneva. She returned to NH and began etching with tips from printmaker Norah Unwin. Carol later studied color with Prof. Hannes Bechmann (Bauhaus), Dartmouth College. She joined the League in 1972: "I remember where I was standing when I got my first sale." Through the League shops and the Annual Craftsmen's Fair, she found a way of life - all from a room of her own. Carol's 'Coy vignettes of life can be found in most League shops and beyond.
