Serigraph prints are made by using a tightly stretched silkscreen prepared by blocking out (with a varnish-like substance) areas not to be printed. Ink is forced through the open mesh of unblocked areas and onto the paper underneath the screen. William Hays’s elaborate serigraph prints feature up to 12 or more layers.

Available matted in a white mat, or framed in a dark wood frame.

Print dimensions are 9 inches wide by 12 inches tall.

Matted size is 16 inches wide by 20 inches tall.

Framed size is 18 inches wide by 22 inches tall.
