Soda fired mugs with slip brushwork by Sarah Burns. Sarah works with stoneware clay, fired in a gas-fired soda kiln. The soda ash introduced into the kiln reacts with the surface texture, glazes, and slips. This creates irregular, unpredictable effects which make each piece completely unique from the next. Sophisticated, strong and durable, comfortable to use, and microwave and dishwasher friendly.
