Small woodfired tumbler decorated with brush-worked grasses by potters Evan Williams and Grace Pejouhy. This tumbler is the perfect size for wine, juice, or a small cup of coffee or tea. Fired in a wood fueled kiln, the clay takes on toasty golden hues and the white glaze achieves a rich luscious depth. This high temperature stoneware pottery is strong and durable, intended for many years of use and enjoyment. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
20 years after discovering they had a mutual love for woodfired pottery, Evan Williams and Grace Pejouhy continue their creative partnership together. Grace throws much of their work, with strong simple forms and clean lines, and often adds sculpted birds and animals to the lids of her pieces. Evan uses brushwork and finger wiping through colored slips to decorate the couple’s pots.
