Memories of working with clay stretch back to my childhood. During the 1960’s my mother designed tile walls for office and apartment lobbies in Manhattan. Like most kids who are exposed to clay, I was attracted to the tactile quality of wet clay and the magical transformation that happens to clay after glazing and firing. As a pre-vet major at the University of New Hampshire in the 70’s this interest in clay was rekindled. My achievements over the past 30 years include numerous solo and group exhibitions, wall pieces commissioned for the New Hampshire Department of Revenue and the Laconia District Courthouse, and features in Yankee Magazine and the Boston Globe.

Contemporary hand-built cup by Don Williams. Sculptural stoneware finished with a matte grey/teal glaze, each cup is unique from the next. Elevate your dining experience to an artistic experience with these elegant and sophisticated cups. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.
