Delightful hand carved mini bowl by Wendy Jackson, with a unique triangular foot design that acts as a built in display stand. This adorable functional or decorative dish was made using a technique called Sgraffito (in Italian,“to scratch”). This is a unique surface decorating technique done by applying colors to the leather hard pottery, and then scratching off parts of the layers to create contrasting images, patterns, and textures, revealing the clay color underneath. Finished with food-safe glazes. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.
