Delightful mug by Wendy Jackson, featuring a Volkswagen van with a peace symbol on its front. This mug was made using a technique called Sgraffito (in Italian,“to scratch”). This is a unique surface decorating technique done by applying colors to the leather hard pottery, and then scratching off parts of the layers to create contrasting images, patterns, and textures, revealing the clay color underneath. Finished with a comfortable handle and food-safe teal glaze, this mug makes a great gift for a Deadhead or VW lover, and is sure to be a household favorite. Microwave and dishwasher friendly.
