Cathy and David Robinson of Weare, New Hampshire spent a lifetime creating beautiful functional pottery. An instant classic, their work quickly became the bestselling pottery within the League of NH Craftsmen galleries. As their work evolved, they developed luscious glazing techniques reminiscent of New Hampshire’s mountains in a diverse color palette including rich vibrant colors, as well as soft soothing pastels. Much to the chagrin of many who came to know and love their work, Cathy and David finally decided to retire in the spring of 2020, after over 50 years of production.
This beautiful periwinkle blue serving bowl with unique glazing like a flower only recently became available for sale when the Robinsons decided to finally sell their permanent collection in the fall of 2022. This quintessential Robinson Pottery is among the very best of their work, collected and set aside by Cathy and David as the “treasures of the kiln” from over half a century of pottery making.
All Robinson Pottery is lead free, food safe, and microwave and dishwasher friendly.
