Brie Baker

Jim Schneider has been a full-time contemporary potter since 1980. He exhibits his work in fine craft fairs throughout the northeastern United States and in selected galleries nationwide. Together with his wife Marilyn Chattin, he built a studio on their property in southern Vermont where they make wheel-thrown and hand built stoneware home and garden accessories. Their life in this peaceful landscape has inspired the creation of bird feeders and birdbaths designed for outdoor use, a variety of vases and ikebana vases to bring their flowers inside, and many baking and serving pieces for entertaining and for enjoying the bounty of their garden.
