Lloyd Hamovit is a New England clay artist whose work combines the tradition of the potter's wheel with sculptural altering techniques. After 20 years as a high school art teacher, in October 2006, Lloyd Hamovit founded the Two Rivers Ceramics Studio. Lloyd's studio in Newbury, MA offers a variety of classes for adults and children, and facilities to other professional clay artists. Along with participation in the League galleries and Craftsman's fair, Lloyd can exhibits in regional shows, including CraftBoston and Paradise City Arts shows. Lloyd is available for commission work and workshops.
