Sculptural cypress driftwood lamp by Nancy Adams with sculptural handmade reed and paper shade. Nancy found this driftwood in North Carolina, then cleaned, scraped, sanded and waxed it to highlight its natural color and woodgrain. She then bent reeds to create a complimentary shade structure using multiple layers of tissue paper and white glue to form a translucent skin. Her beautiful artistic lamps have a sea creature like feeling, that engage the imagination, and can accent any space with ambiance and interest.
This lamp contains an energy efficient 6 watt bulb – 350 lumens – 10,000 hour life – and is cool to the touch.
