This is a miniature basket measuring 2 1/2″ tall and 3″ with the lid that has a small Hemlock cone on top. Base is 1″. Sharon Dugan is internationally known for her Ash splint basketry. The logs are pounded, separating the growth rings, and creating a pliable and durable splint. Each basket that Sharon weaves is signed , dated, numbered and entered into a permanent registry.
