Ash splint baskets are strong; the logs are pounded, separating the grain along a natural line, creating a splint that is pliable and very durable. As these baskets age, they will develop a smooth patina and become even more beautiful heirlooms for future generations. Sharon’s baskets are painstakingly created using only the finest smooth ash. Each basket is signed, numbered, and entered into a permanent register in her studio.
Care & Cleaning: Avoid placing your basket in direct sunlight. Use a soft brush to dislodge dust.
