Elegant polymer clay and 14k gold-fill dangle earrings by Barbara Sperling, featuring beautiful Chinese lotuses. Barbara creates her work using a cane work process. She builds up colored polymer clay to form a log of clay in which the image is a cross section. It may take months to build the 4-6″ diameter cane, but then she can roll it to smaller diameters and slice it to feature in her unique one-of-a-kind, limited-edition jewelry. Barbara’s beautiful work is always intricately detailed, nature inspired, and each one is a wearable piece of art.
