After achieving a jewelry & silversmithing degree at London Metropolitan University in the UK, she set up her workshop in New Hampshire and in 2010, Stephanie became a member of the League of NH Craftsmen. Stephanie is drawn to using wire as a technique to create volume without the weight and heft that is associated with a solid 3D form. Drawing inspiration from organic shapes and fluid lines, I combine them with a structured piece using an architectural sensibility; adding depth and using contrasting finishes to accentuate the design. The end result that she aspires to is an unexpected and attractive shape that is lightweight and visually stunning.
Sterling silver hammered circle, post earrings with Blue Topaz.

Talas’ vast art experience and background in natural sciences has allowed her to take a piece of the ancient past and bring it into the modern world.
