Necklace

I grew up in Finland and feel my design sensibilities have their roots in the clean lines and spare use of embellishments of Finnish design. My jewelry features subtle combinations of fresh water pearls and glass seed beads and are constructed using various combinations of off loom weaving and stringing techniques. Each piece is finished with a unique handmade fine silver clasp. After earning a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art, I worked as a clay artist for several years. I also hold a Certificate degree in graphic design from UMass Lowell. I am self taught in beading techniques and am a Certified PMC artist. I've been creating mixed media jewelry for the past ten years or so.
