Turquoise and lapis “Gentle Currents” earrings by Allison Korn, made with pure fine silver (999) and ground turquoise and lapis inlays. Allison’s jewelry is made from a precious metal clay made of pure silver particles (all recycled) in an organic binder. (The company that recycles the silver gets their silver from old silverware, as well as old x-rays and photographic negatives!)Â Each piece is then fired to 1650F, burning off the organic binder and leaving a pure silver piece of jewelry behind. Allison’s artistic voice comes straight from her heart, with the loving intention of helping others on their own journeys. This beautiful turquoise and lapis inlay design symbolizes a gently flowing river one must trust to safely take them to their final destination.
