Julie Schmidt is a self taught metalsmith, primarily working in sterling silver, copper and brass. Her designs often fuse vibrant metals with stitching or cold connection to enhance movement, texture and form, creating whimsical and organic jewelry that is somehow cute, funky and edgy, all at the same time.
