Artist: Reed, Karen

Karen has been a glass professional since 1981. Her work has shown at the Bullseye Connections Gallery, at the White House and has been accepted into shows curated by the Director of Craft for the Smithsonian Museum and by the Artistic Director of Pilchuck School of Glass. She was featured in the books “Your Career in Craft” and “Photographing Art, Craft and Collectibles”. Her work has been highlighted in The Crafts Report Magazine and showcased in Glass Art Magazine. Her “Sunscape Series” was shown on CBS “Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood”.She is a contributing editor for GLASS Craftsman, Fired Arts & Crafts and Stained Glass Quartery Magazines.

Stained Glass Orb made by Karen Reed. These glass pieces are created with tiny shards of multi-colored glass, which are then soldered together into the shape of an orb.
