Fascinating hand blown glass paperweight by Robert Burch, featuring delicate opalescent leaves and coral plants, created using a technique Robert calls “silver veil”. The translucent glass is layered with two glasses of very different viscosities, and like oil on water, at a certain temperature they spread out to create the tertiary colors where they merge and mix. The spectacular colors and forms that emerge are irresistible and otherworldly. This wonderful piece of art glass sculpture is perfect for a collector, or to simply enjoy in your home.
