Wool and Silk Scarf

I have been weaving almost all my life. My Finnish grandmother taught me to weave rag rugs when I was twelve years old, and I have been weaving ever since, mostly self-taught. She also taught me knitting and sewing, so my life has always been involved with fiber arts. Most of my weaving focuses on color and texture, probably a result of using bits and pieces of old fabrics in my early rugs. Now, I try to use a variety of natural yarns in my scarves, jackets, and capes, but my favorite fiber is wool.
