I have been making art of some kind for most of my life, and about 25 years ago began working almost exclusively with fabric. Several years ago I made a decision to spend less time on my fabric art for what seemed to be a practical career consideration: Graphic Design school. The excitement of learning something unfamiliar was powerful motivation. Despite the difficulties, I did fairly well. Finding work, however, was not so easy… Last year I focused on relearning the rusty sewing skills I once took for granted for a group exhibit at the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, MA.
