I grew up a farm boy in Illinois. Served aboard the USS Boston then went back to school and was hired as a field engineer. I found my calling in diagnostic medical systems and spent 40 years installing and servicing those systems.Building things is in my DNA so woodworking satisfies that itch now that I am retired. I particularly enjoy building boxes of any kind because I can stretch the design envelope with varied woods and inlay. Buyers are more conservative with their furniture purchases.I am leader of the Period Furniture subgroup in the Guild of N.H. Woodworkers. Sharing and teaching the skill is important to me.My boxes are solid wood, environmentally friendly and built to be passed on to other generations. I will build boxes that fit your need and taste. My hope is that “you find your box to be as important to you as what it contains”.
