Suzanne learned to sew from her maternal grandmother over 46 years ago, and discovered that she loved the feeling of fibers and threads, the fascinating magic of clothing construction. As an adult she is drawn to explore the the emotion of color, and her work is driven by introspection. Heavily influenced by the natural world, Suzanne brings to her work a unique sense of color, balance and technique. Simple elegance, clean lines, and sophisticated color are the hallmarks of her collection. Although her work has won awards and recognition, Suzanne considers it her greatest honor that people on five continents have welcomed her work into their homes for over 33 years.
