| I learned to knit as a teenager from my Mom (a good knitter) and my Grandmother (a great knitter!). Over the years, I have knit everything from Fair Isle sweaters to socks, from lace shawls to hundreds of hats. I even knit a cabled skirt! After knitting for 30+ years, I was looking for a new challenge and completed the 3 part Master Knitter Program through The Knitting Guild Association. I learned so much doing the program and it definitely raised the bar on my knitting. I knit almost exclusively with wool or wool blends. I am a believer that wool is a miracle fiber! |
