Media: Fiber - Wearable

“Combining passion for color and texture with my vision of the natural world, I create hand-painted scarves on silk.”
I received my BFA in Photography at Massachusetts College of Art which has guided my sense of composition, but I found my true passion has been in working with fiber and color. I use a variety of painting and dyeing techniques on a frame of stretched silk that I use to create a final collage of fabric, which is the basis for my wearable art.
I work most days in my studio, located in a revitalized mill at Western Avenue in Lowell.
