Lauren Dow is a metal sculptor in southern Maine practicing the art of lost wax bronze casting. She has a passion for community and is attracted to process driven work that involves many hands. She uses found objects and creates her original models using animals and plants from her garden and surrounding woods. Her work acts as a memorial for the ever changing and decaying world that often goes unnoticed.
