Kathleen Litchfield has been weaving since 2005 and earned her master’s certificate in weaving from the Hill Institute in Northampton, MA in June, 2018. Her handwoven scarves, shawls and other wearables are made of luxurious rayon chenille as well as cotton, rayon, tencel, bamboo and novelty yarns. Her handwoven home textiles include 100% cotton absorbent towels and kitchen cloths and napkins in a variety of bright colorways and diverse weave structures. She continually furthers her education at workshops, national weaving conferences and events. She loves sharing her inner joy and love of life through weaving; specialties are her original “Story Scarves.”
