| Wood is a delight to work with. My furniture designs are mostly inspired by natural forms. I enjoy contrasting a woods grain with hand-painted, faux finish techniques. My initial woodworking skills were developed in three small, fine furniture shops located outside Boston. New Hampshire became my home in 1986 and I became a juried member of the LNHC in 1987. My eventual choice to make engineering my lively hood has enhanced my appreciation of the design process and the joy of working with wood. |
