Woodworking has always been my passion and escape. After college I moved to Sweden. There I had many opportunities to try and learn new skills. welding, construction, teaching, and many years as a master mason restoring buildings and churches, many from 15th century. I earned a master’s degree in molecular biology that led me to exciting research career in Boston. I soon transformed my garage into a workshop and began turning and creating every spare moment. Something about working with wood that I can lose myself and enjoy a deeper calling. Woodworking should be simple, functional, and pleasing to the eye. Whether I’ve made a toy or utensil my hope is that it will be a pleasure to use.
