Donna strives to create bright, touchable pottery. Her signature ruffle details imbue a playful, organic element to her ceramic vessels. Utilizing both electric kilns and wood fired kilns, she chooses glazes and finishes that highlight her bold, undulating forms. She delights in the tedium and rhythm of adding textural details.
Currently working out of her studio at Mother Brook Arts & Community Center in Dedham, MA Donna splits her time between throwing and teaching. She enjoys teaching several classes at Mother Brook as well as at Indigo Fire Studio in Watertown. Additionally, she instructs clay and craft classes with the SNAP (Special Needs Arts Programs) organization in Lexington, MA.
