As a young girl Deb was enchanted with fiber; she began by learning needlepoint with her grandmother and over the years has expanded her range of skills to a master level. Her love of spinning was inspired by watching a demonstrating craftsperson at one of the League Fairs and since 1984 Deb has been spinning her own wool, raised fiber animals, is an active member in a local spinning group, served as president of the NH Guild of Spinners and Dyers and shares with others this age old craft. Spinning led Deb to explore other aspects of fiber arts including natural dyeing and weaving. Deb has studied with natural color artist Michele Wipplinger of Earthues in Seattle.
